Central Ink Corporation has been in the Breen family since its inception in 1933. Cecil E. Breen was the founder, and Richard joined his father and his brother, Vern, in the family business in 1945. Vern retired in 1985, and Richard became sole owner and President of the company. Since then the company has been passed downto Dan Breen.

Gregg Dahleen joined the team at Central Ink Corporation in 1996, after working in the ink industry since 1980. He is a 2nd generation inkie, and was the first of his two brothers to follow in his father’s footsteps. Gregg was hired into technical service with a focus on sheetfed inks and received multiple certifications from RIT. He spent time working on the technical side of the business in addition to providing sales support. In 2002, Gregg was promoted to Vice President of Sales, and most recently he was promoted to President in 2007. Gregg is currently a member of the Chicago Litho Club and NAPIM where he won the 2014 "Printing Ink Pioneer Award". He also enjoys various outdoor activities and spending time with his three children during his off time.
