Central Ink Corporation has been in the Breen family since its inception in 1933. Cecil E. Breen was the founder, and Richard joined his father and his brother, Vern, in the family business in 1945. Vern retired in 1985, and Richard became sole owner and President of the company. In 2002, he was awarded Ink Maker of the Year, and also received the prestigious Printing Ink Pioneer Award from NAPIM in 2006, honoring his commitment to the ink industry which spans over 60 years. Today, Richard serves as CEO of the company.

Gregg Dahleen joined the team at Central Ink Corporation in 1996, after working in the ink industry since 1980. He is a 2nd generation inkie, and was the first of his two brothers to follow in his father’s footsteps. Gregg was hired into technical service with a focus on sheetfed inks and received multiple certifications from RIT. He spent time working on the technical side of the business in addition to providing sales support. In 2002, Gregg was promoted to Vice President of Sales, and most recently he was promoted to President in 2007. Gregg is a member of the Chicago Litho Club and enjoys various outdoor activities in his spare time.

Bradley Dahleen

Bradley Dahleen has over 23 years experience in the ink industry, and has been with Central Ink Corporation since 2003. He joined CIC as a member of the sales team, and was promoted to Vice President, Sales and Marketing in 2007. Brad started his journey in the ink industry working in the lab. He specialized in UV and UV plastics, although his technical expertise in all lithographic inks has allowed him to service his clients in both a sales and technical capacity. In high school, Brad joined the Army Reserves and served our country as a medic. Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and reading in his spare time. He is a first-rate Fantasy Football commissioner, as well as the ’06 and ’08 CIC league champion.

Mary Dickey

Mary Dickey has been with Central Ink Corporation since 1988. She started her career at CIC as the Assistant Controller and currently holds the position of Vice President, Finance. Mary holds a B.S. in business from the University of Evansville and is a Certified Public Accountant. According to Mary, if she were not working at CIC, her next favorite thing to do would be “plowing the back 40 on a 1950 Allis Chalmers while listening to George Strait’s greatest hits.”

Doug Anderson

Doug Anderson has over 30 years experience in the ink industry, and has spent the last 19 years with Central Ink Corporation. He was hired as the Technical Director and now serves as a Vice President. Doug has vast experience in the technical field and has worked in technical service and as a lab manager. His accolades include President of the Chicago Printing Ink Production Club, 2002 Ink Man of the Year, and Moderator for a NAPIM conference, in addition to serving on various NAPIM committees. In his spare time, Doug enjoys golfing and spending time with his family, including his 3 daughters and 2 grandkids.

Vic Dahleen joined Central Ink Corporation in 1992, but has over 23 years experience in the ink industry. He was hired by CIC as a lab manager and has fulfilled many positions with the company since that time including: Sales, Technical Director, Technical Service Manager, Manager of Inplants, Director of Mobile Diagnostics, and Special Projects Manager including opening the Minnesota branch and starting the dry color (dispersion) operation in West Chicago. Vic loves spending time outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing in his spare time.
